The alkaline water they sell at the grocery nearby has potassium in it.  
Companies sell potassium drops you can put in regular water.   If you're 
running a little acidic it can increase your pep but even taking a 
potassium supplement can do that.  Alternative practitioners are more 
making the diet more alkaline producing.  BTW, with some people that can 
be a focus on vegetables particularly green leafys and then there are 
some people that meat actually makes them more alkaline.  It's like 
there are two species of humans on the planet.
