help human beings realize they are already

I'd guess MMY recognizes all human beans as 
divine. The question is whether the rajas are
able to recognize divinity in themselves without
the assistance of the costumes and props.

Once the recognition dawns, presumably the 
trappings no longer matter.  I don't see 
anything wrong with trappings as a temporary
aid, if they actually give that recognition a
little nudge.
