I don't know why Barry and Joe are so interested in the Mahesh Yogi's private sex life. You'd think they would be more interested in reporting their own. So, it says more about Barry and Joe than it does about the author and the Yogi. After all, wasn't the Yogi 'just another guy' to Joe and Barry? Or, was the Yogi really Barry and Joe's 'guru' who promised them that they would reach 'enlightenment' in 5-7 years, and it's been what, over thirty years now of not getting any more enlightened and not getting laid? Go figure.
