Since I'd never heard of the place before, it's not like I had expectations of it or its owners' tastes. If I'd had expectations, they probably would have been along the lines of, "Nobody has worse taste than the nouveau riche," and those expect- ations, while locking me into a karmic cycle of judgement and non-acceptance, would probably have been correct. But since I was making a joke, it's not as if I was actually complaining too severely about the tacky decor, and it's not as if I fear my soul is in mortal peril for not making the joke. Besides, the lack-of-expectations thang requires constant attention, and Thursday was my day off. :-) To subscribe, send a message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Or go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/ and click 'Join This Group!'
