The main difference between the Vedantists is that some believe that Chaitanya (circa 1500 AD), was an Avatar - Madhva, Nombarka, and Vallbha do not agree with this, but otherwise agree concerning the Vedanta. Vishnuism follows most of the common Hindu doctrines, but with some very subtle differences.
