Compare and contrast even to their respective scriptures. The Bhagavad-Gita is all about revenge and retaliation and inflicting injury and death upon those who diss the side Krishna (Hinduism) is on. Bush The Buddhist canon is more about compassion and not sweating the small stuff and trying to do the best you can to live like a mensch in the here and now. Wanting "revenge" or "payback" for something that affronted you in the past? What's "the past?" :-)
