In Scientology we have something called an "obnosis" (observing the
obvious) drill.  When you look at something, you have to tell the other
person what you see. "I see her left ear"  will be flunked when what is
really "seen" is an ear lobe due to the fact that the "rest of the ear"
is actually covered by hair.  Interesting drill to do and to coach.  We
all "see" lots of stuff that isn't really there.

----Nah, just a substitute for a substitute.  There is no ear lobe but just skin, as defined by referential abstractions of other-than-skin, all based upon some other referential and dependent abstraction, ad infinitum, and thus ad nauseum.

This is called, in Buddhism - coemergent dependency, dependent coemergence, dependent arising, or some such thing.  Everything depends upon everything else and thus nothing has any sort of existance conventionally or otherwise, which is why it's all said to be Maya. It's all Maya, my Friend. That's all your Scientologists have managed to do is reduplicate an ancient syllogism.
