High deductibles are ridiculous. Stop the American military killing machine and there would be plenty of money for single payer health care or Medicare for all. Private health insurance is a scam and Obamacare isn't much better. I agree. To ramp it up a bit, indict the health insurance execs for murder (after doing so for the tobacco execs, etc.) I hope Obama pushed it as far as he could, but I agree that it's a far cry from what we should have (single payer). There's a move afoot to institute single payer in Vermont.
