Use four cups of whole milk. 1 cup
of cream and 2 cups of sugar, bring them to a boil with a few saffron threads, a
pinch of salt, some vanilla,raisins and 1 and a half cups of basmati rice and
simmer until the rice starts to fall apart - about 35 minutes. You want it
somewhat soupy because it will tighten up after it starts to cool.
