Just for fun, most English translations seem to translate
Greek 'haplous' to 'sound'(adj.) or 'perfect', NOT 'single'. 

Weirdly enough, Latin 'simplex' doesn't seem to have
the meaning 'sound'(adj.), but am not absolutely sure
about that.
