> ----Everything in existance is made up of the five elements. In their most subtle forms they are colors of awareness. cool! Thanks for that too. What are the colors and their relative significance? -----It's not so much relative significance. The colors are the formless or empty aspect of the elements, the aspects where they are of Buddha wisdom. The significance depends upon which dogma you read which discusses them. But consider this, they are the aspects of the Unified Field which give rise to the fundamental forces. In the formless samadhi where those empty form colors abide is where creation begins and ends. That's why in the Vedas they are Kalagni fire at pralaya, vaihvanara lake, tawny soma, and so on... In Buddhism they are the five Buddha families. They are the sign of pure consciousness. If one does open eye meditation and can maintain that sort of vision then it takes on a new meaning. It's hard to posit whether that awareness is inner or outer space. Ultimately it is considered mere space, same inner as outer. Finally one sees that space itself is sentience. Space itself is consciousness, by it's very nature as vast it has become all knowing. Only humans, limited by identifying with the body do not realize that they are primarily sentient due to space element which is limitless. Space color is usually blue. Sentience bindu is therefore usually blue. To subscribe, send a message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Or go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/ and click 'Join This Group!'
