The outed lizard quickly covered up the momentary lapse of control by telling everyone that she'd had a #1 experience of LC, the state of consciousness beyond UC and BC. When people asked what LC was, she told them that Maharishi had spoken of it in a talk given shortly before he died, and that he even said in the talk that Lizard Consciousness was so advanced that only the highest in the room would remember being told about it. At that point several people "piled on" and said that they remembered the Lizard Consciousness talk, too, and that they had had similar #1 experiences, but hadn't mentioned them yet because they were trying to be humble and not offend the lesser-evolved.
