I've never heard anyone say they are *identical*--in fact different brands of chyavanprash vary in specific ingredients, yet possess the same "base". Suffice to say that Amrit Kalash is a type of chyavanprash. Since the active ingredient is amla--and its mechanism of free radical scavenging is now better understood--it's easier to see why chyavanprash in general can give good results. What's a shame is how this has been made so overpriced. To subscribe, send a message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Or go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/ and click 'Join This Group!' Yahoo!
