I am a disciple of MMY, a practitioner of TM and an
astrologer.
I agree with Prof Chaudhry here that the affliction of
the South Node in Virgo where Jupiter is posited is bad for both India &
US.
Since Jupiter rules finance, for India the economic field
will be affected. India is already passing through the dreaded Elarata Saturnie
Cycle ( 7 1/2 years). Tsunami, destructive rains etc all bear the hallmarks of
the dreaded Saturnine Cycle. Jupiter afflicted by Ketu and suppressed by
Saturnine 3rd aspect indicates that the economy will be severely affected.
With Oil peaking to $ 62 a barrel ( India imports 70% oil ), India will go
through the fiscal purgatory.
From Sagittarius, which is US's Ascendant, this
combination occurs in the 4 H, the House of Happiness and pleasure. US is
undergoing a severe Religious Crisis, with people belonging to Black Lodge
groups ( Theology groups ) up in arms against the New Age Movement and movements
such as TM, Reiki Yoga etc, which they call " Pagan ". From their perspective,
it is Paganism vs their Belief System. They derisively call New Age America as "
Pagan " America ! Also a severe financial crisis !

The following prediction is based on the US chart
rectified by our SAMVA List moderator, Jorge Angelino.
During the month of August, 2005, transit Jupiter would be under the close
malefic influence of Rahu-Ketu axis. This does not auger well for
children,
those suffering with liver diseases, teachers, judiciary,
financial advisors and to some extent for marketeers. So, it is time to take
care and exercise
patience.
The present transit conjunction
of Jupiter and Ketu is likely to cause concerns for US in matters of wealth,
accidents, natural disasters, fires, activities of anti-social elements which
includes terrorists, as well, and some loss of life. The period runs for
at least one month and it is critical. This will cause serious concerns for
the government. President Bush is likely to take tough action to meet all
challenges.
In Indian independence chart this influence of
transit conjunction of Jupiter and Ketu is besides the transit affliction of
Rahu to natal Venus and
Saturn. So, the vulnerability of India to
accidents, natural disasters, mishaps, child health, labour problems, setbacks
for the governments - both
state and centre, epidemic, etc.
