This is from Para:

As you may have heard, there are large amounts of property in

foreclosure at Heavenly Mountain in North Carolina. In addition to ca.

38 lots for building, ranging in price from $23,000 to $90,000

(originally most were between $200,000 and $350,000), there are two

enormous homes in foreclosure, suitable for a Peace Palace and Pandit

facility, and most recently, the entire Purusha campus. Mother Divine

has purchased their own campus and will be returning when renovations

are completed. Meanwhile, the Purusha campus will be sold at auction

on 14 September for a reserve price of $2.4 million. The campus

includes ca. 350 acres of beautiful wooded land, the two hotels that

were used respectively for an Ayurvedic health centre and the Purusha

course facility, for men's courses; the huge flying hall; huge dining

hall; three Pandit mandaps; and all the Purusha suites (we don't know

the exact number, but there were over 200 Purusha, I think.)

The whole thing presents an amazing opportunity to reclaim Heavenly

Mountain as the Spiritual Centre of America, which it was always

intended to be. Some Governors in NC had a brilliant idea: if 100

people each purchased a Purusha suite as a one-bedroom condo for $25,000, we
would

have 2.5 million, hopefully enough to buy the entire campus. All the

rest is thrown in free. The suites each have a private entrance from

the outside and are composed of a living room, kitchenette, bathroom,

washer/drier downstairs, and a bedroom loft upstairs. The views are

apparently spectacular. This is a golden opportunity for anyone who'd

like to live in the heavenly atmosphere and stunning natural beauty of

HM to buy a condo (or two, if a couple, for more space) at an

incredible price. It could be either a permanent home for those who'd

like to live here but can't afford to build a house, or, at this

price, a holiday home for others, including Europeans, Australians,

South Africans, etc.

There is a Governor here who is a Class A certified builder (the

best), has built 47 homes including the original Purusha houses (early

vastu) and most recently, several vastu homes in Florida, in the

Mandala Club. He would be available to do any needed renovations, or

to build a vastu home for anyone wishing to buy a lot. He is an

excellent builder and totally sattvic and spiritual.

The flying hall on Heavenly Mountain is beyond sublime; the

experiences there are like being in Maharishi's ashram in India in

Maharishi's presence. There is a monthly fee of $50 for singles and

$75 for couples, or annually $500 for singles and I think $750 for

couples. Right now the Purusha campus is certainly not part of

Heavenly Mountain Resort, which is the homeowners' association; it was

completely separate, as was Mother Divine's campus. It's not at all

clear what the status of the condos would be-all of that would have to

be worked out with the homeowners-but for now, as it's not in the

Association, the condos wouldn't be subject to the $2400 per year

homeowners' fee, which covers things like road maintenance, security

guard, etc. Perhaps the condos would have their own condo association

with their own dues to maintain their own roads. With that many condos

sharing the cost, the fees would be much lower. There are also

property taxes to consider; they are normally low in this county, but

with the big buildings included in the price, it's not clear what the

burden would be.

It would have to be worked out who would actually bid on the property

at auction and how to handle all the other expenses for renovating the

other buildings. One thought was an LLC in which everyone pools their

money and become joint owners. When the property is acquired, each

owner would take out their own condo(s) from the LLC. All would

jointly own the other condos, which could then be sold, perhaps for a

profit, though Maharishi said, "Heavenly Mountain is not a place to

make money." However, this profit would be used to renovate at least

one hotel for an Ayurvedic spa and course facility (Peace Palace), and

hopefully in future it would be possible to renovate the second hotel

for a group of 121 pandits. Or at least 21, which means about 30

pandits for a margin, and all their staff, perhaps 40 people in all.

The spa and Peace Palace would generate income for their own

maintenance and salaries for the technicians and Governors who teach.

What we really need is for someone to step forward and take on the

project, ideally someone with experience in business, property

development, legal proceedings, etc. That person could collect money

from prospective buyers and also advance whatever is needed to make at

least $2.5 million-but since it's an auction, it would be wise to

collect more. Anyone interested could put in $1000 deposit on a condo

for now, and if we get the property, we have at least 30 days, which

can be extended many times, to collect the funds, have the inspections

done, etc. before we actually need to close on the property.

For now, anyone interested in a condo please email me at

para...@gmail.com. We will be providing other contacts soon for lots,

builder, etc.

Everyone here in the beautiful, spiritual Blue Ridge Mountains is

really hoping to make Heavenly Mountain the divine spiritual centre it

was meant to be! We hope you can join us in this endeavour.
