Just citing an example of vets who not only did not take umbrage against an anti-war movement, they were part of it. There is also now a Veterans Against the Iraq War: http://www.vaiw.org/vet/index.php And an Iraq Veterans Against the War: http://www.ivaw.net And Veterans for Peace: http://www.veteransforpeace.org I think the reasons you stated for veterans opposing antiwar movements are on target.
