I suspect it ties into something Jim Flanegin said
earlier:

"IMO Maharishi is demonstrating regularly and spectacularly to anyone
that pays attention to him that enlightenment or awakening or
Brahman or whatever you want to call it, is NOT achieved by
following the Master.

"The Master shows you all possibilities, and if he is any good,
brings you to the cliff's edge, and shoves you off, into eternal
freedom. Become your own Master."

"Total knowledge" in this sense would not mean
believing everything MMY says, but rather that
everything he says is what we need to hear.

If we're on the cliff's edge, in other words, hearing
MMY say we have to reconstruct the world is what we
need to hear to push us over the edge into becoming
our own Master: I'm not going along with *that* nutty
idea! Well, I guess now I'm on my own...

Does that mean that everyone who is still going along
with his nutty ideas hasn't yet gone over the edge?

Not necessarily. With regard to those in eternal
freedom, all bets are off. We can't evaluate whether
a person does or does not have "total knowledge" by
what they do.
