Absolutely fascinating film, distributed free on YouTube (for now) and on the torrentnet (which the U.S. Chamber Of Commerce cannot intimidate), about the antics of a group of social activists who decided to take a new approach to social change.
In their first effort, they put out a fake press release, purporting to come from the U.S. Chamber Of Commerce (a for-profit corporation deeply in the pocket of its corporate sponsors), saying that they were reversing their position on Climate Change. Then they actually *held* the press conference, at which a real U.S. Chamber Of Commerce dweeb showed up and embarrassed the corp even further (this bit is in the first of eleven segments at the link below). Shortly after which the USCoC decided to sue the Yes Men (perpetrators of this activist prank). And yet, two weeks later, the USCoC reversed its policy on Climate Change. The bottom line is that the Yes Men won. The U.S. Chamber Of Commerce changed its position on Climate Change. A prank forced America's largest business lobby to reverse its position on Climate Change.
