Yep it also could be done remmotely by mere mortals using Skype. The procedure
is mechanical. Two mortals could sit down apart and be hooked up and complete
a meditation checking via skype in form and the procedure should work fine.
Like any teacher/checker can sit at the front of a big hall and do a group
checking without having to sit with each person. However, apparently there is
some interesting research about the coherence effect of meditating in
proximity. Closeness of people meditating together evidently does matter.
"Where two or three are gathered...".
