HAs anyone told you yer an idiot? The most interesting research coming out of MUM doesn't come out of MUM but out of collarborations with other researchers, many of whom don't practice TM, or who even advocate other forms of meditation. The specific study I'm refering to is just a straight-forward analysis of Canadian health untilization of TMers vs the average population in Canada. As studies go, its not the ultimate in design, but it also doesn't claim the ultimate in earth-shaking benefits, either, or do you think it odd that a stress-management technique would should that there's a 10% per year reduction in health utilization when most researchers and doctors agree that as much as half of our health problems are stress-related? Note that the study didn't compare the results of TM to other meditation/relaxation techniques. ------------------------ Yahoo!
