The subsequent framing of RobertsonÕs irreligious remarks were informative for two reasons; that a man of faith would call for the "removal" of a foreign leader is seen as less amoral than the cost benefit reasoning behind it. Robertson supported the possibility of assassination as a logical way to save U.S. taxpayers the further cost of oil exploration and appropriation through military engagement. The current administration finds it less damaging placing Robertson on the fringe than highlighting a core feature of U.S. foreign policy. ------------ ------------------------ Yahoo!
