Yes, they will.  The Astrodome has showers and
locker rooms, as well as several working kitchens.
They'll have cots and blankets; they'll be able to
sleep on the floor of the dome rather than being
stuck in rock-hard stadium seats.  There'll be
medical and psychiatric care as well.  (I'm just
watching a press conference from Houston, God
bless 'em.)  They're talking about a convoy of
500 buses for the trip.

Well, you wouldn't want them to leave the dome if
they weren't nice and clean, would you?

I'm happy for them to have a place, however there are two locker rooms meant for two sports teams. I'm picturing about 12,000 men and 12,000 women lining up to take showers. Sounds like a nightmare to me! Feeding them won't be a problem, washing clothes will. Hopefully the dome will hire a lot of them to work.  I'm also picturing many of these people wanting to get away and find jobs and get an apartment until they can go home which looks like it could be a matter of months now. Hard to imagine 24 or 25 thousand people hanging out together for 3 or 4 months under those circumstances.
