******** I'm sure that what is meant is that your house should be able to get _some_ sunlight within 12 minutes after the sun starts to rise, which should be feasible many places in Iowa, with its lack of blocking mountains and high-rise bldgs, but would be a heck of a problem for many bldgs in skyscraper country like NYC http://www.mgc- vastu.com/html/Calculation/SunriseDelay/delay.html . And, yeah, regarding the lack of specificity about distances from bodies of water (and size of body -- swimming pools and fountains don't count, I believe) and cemeteries, it is certainly retarded to publish these guidelines without giving complete directions.
