No mention of disability, mental or physical that I saw, did I miss that?

And... what if the person can't find a job that they are capable of doing even
if they aren't officially mentally or physically disabled?

I have a severe hernia that, combined with my morbid obesity, gives me a 60+
inch waist, about 1/2 of which is concentrated around the hernia.

I have no pain from this because I have sufficient nerve damage that I can
literally (and have) stab myself accidentally or burn myself accidentally (that
has happened also) with no sensation of pain.

DIsability doesn't cover localized analgesia or simple hernia issues, but I
can't get a job anywhere that I appear in public to the customer because my
body shape is so bizarre. IOW, I can't be a greeter at Walmart.

My attention deficit disorder is sufficiently bad that I can't drive a bus or
deal with money, so bus driver or convenience store clerk are out also. Truck
driver and cab driver are out as well. Day laborer isn't an option for me as I
am 100=150 pounds overweight (depending on what you assume my ideal body weight
should be I am as much as 100% overweight).

NONE of the above qualify me for disability -except possibly the weight issue-
and federal disability now takes years to obtain in some cases. So, my question
to you and your 21-year-old friend: what should I be doing?
