Do people really believe that if we meditate at a certain time it is likely to result in a non-warmongering president? Look, we have 2 choices. Democrat or Republican. I'd love for an independant to get in there, but I don't think it's going to happen anytime soon. Now, looking at history and the wars we've been in, let's see what each party has gotten us into for major wars: WWI - Democrat WWII - Democrat Korea - Democrat Vietnam - Democrat Operation Desert Storm - Republican Operation Enduring Freedom - Republican Operation Iraqi Freedom - Republican All recent operations in Pakistan - Democrat So....looking at the above statistics, it looks to me like our 2 choices of Obama and Romney indicates to me that either way we vote, we're no more or less likely to go to war with either candidate in office. Meditation is not an emergency reaction tool. It is a long term, preventive tool. Perhaps if we'd meditate regularly, and have more people learn TM, we wouldn't have such idiotic candidates. We'd have too much coherence and would realize how full of shit all these politicians are and not let them with the primaries in the first place. But now they're facing each other in the debates, and John Hagelin and the TMO thinks that meditating now, all of a sudden, is going to fix something? This does imply that John Hagelin is probably in belief that it really matters which candidate is chosen. But if John Hagelin really believes that you're going to fix something at the last minute with a group meditation, it implies he doesn't know the difference between strategy and tactics. I'm not as impressed with him as I was when I was at MIU/MUM. seekliberation --- In [email protected], nablusoss1008 <no_reply@...> wrote: > > > > --- In [email protected], "salyavin808" <fintlewoodlewix@> wrote: > > > > > > > > --- In [email protected], Dick Mays <dickmays@> wrote: > > > > > > > > > > > > Begin forwarded message: > > > > > > > From: "Dr. John Hagelin" <development@> > > > > Subject: Will you help America choose wisely? > > > > Date: October 8, 2012 8:08:55 PM CDT > > > > To: "Dick," <dickmays@> > > > > > > > > > > > > Dear Dick, > > > > > > > > Are you aware that early voting has already begun in some of the > > > > thirty-four states which provide it?
