I used to have an experience which straddled these two opposites, in 
that I would listen to the sweetness of a pop song and hear it as a 
hymn to God. Granted, the musician would be singing about his/her 
girlfriend/boyfriend, though I would be hearing it as about their 
desire to merge with God. It reflected my desire for the same thing.
