Well, you know, I haven't seen him doing anything that I'd even remotely classify as "exposing some corrupt activity." What I've seen him do is report on what he's seeing in front of his nose, and showing it to the audience on camera. I guess he does know what he's talking about, because what he says and what we see match up quite nicely. > My wife and some other Red Cross people who are watching FOX just > shake there heads--this guy has no clue. Perhaps you've seen some special segments I've missed in which he was "exposing some corrupt activity." > Hey, it boosts ratings guess I think you may have missed what I pointed out about Fox's coverage on this leaning in quite a different direction from their usual, and from the usual predilections of their audience. If I were a knee-jerk right-winger, I think I'd be outraged that they were daring to show stuff that didn't automatically put the government in the best of all possible lights. >, but it's > sad that many, like yourself, will actually accept what he 'pines as > "truth". When he 'pines about people suffering--which is about all I've seen him do these last few days-- and we *see* them suffering, yes, I'll accept that what he says is the truth. Of course, it's not just him by any means; he's just particularly forceful in his delivery. The same things are being shown and the same observations being made everywhere I've looked on the tube, in all the newspapers, on the blogs, including the blogs containing posts from individuals who've been trapped there in New Orleans about what they're experiencing. But I guess, as far as you're concerned, it's all a huge conspiracy to make what's happening seem far worse than it really is, right? ------------------------ Yahoo!
