So much for the religious nuts theory that "it was sin" that destroyed New Orleans. One of the local Bay Area TV stations KTVU sent a reported to New Orleans and last night he showed how little damage was done to Bourbon Street and the French Quarter. Both are above sea level so there was no flooding and just some wind damage. Preservation Hall is intact. Residents say that they could have Mardi Gras as usual next year. Sorry Pat, sorry Jerry.
