Hmmmmmm.
There were 6500 LANG available. About 3800 were deployed by
Monday. DOn't know when and if the rest were deployed. Its conceivablethat
they were just back from Iraq, and I don't know the logistics of
deploying combat troops for law enforcement and so on without
debriefing.Imagine sending a bunch of kids who were just back from
being shot at every day into a disaster area where a few looters were
taking potshots... I've read that the Bush Administration WAS worried
about this kind of issue, but perhaps not specifically concerning Iraq
War vets.
And when did the Governor declare martial law? FEMA doesn't
have to send it's agents into a lawless environment where there is
anarchy.
