We're kind of in a limbo between old HTML 4 and the newer 5 which offers a lot more and editors which work both for desktop and mobile. Webmasters would prefer one site for both. Usually mobile web sites use simpler layouts. Yahoo Groups doesn't route you to a mobile layout yet though other sites do. They're a little behind the curve on that. More likely they'll "have an app for that".
