[Crop Circles Are No Hoax, Concludes Historian After Studying Google Earth's New...] Why you think crop circles are an indication of other world activity belies the easily available information of how easily some gifted people are in making them. Now here is a guy that does the same thing, but makes patterns in snow mostly walking in snowshoes: http://www.snowshoemag.com/2012/12/11/simon-beck-the-art-of-snowshoeing-snowshoeing-as-art/ AND http://www.visualnews.com/2012/11/21/frosty-crop-circles-made-with-snowshoes/ Looking at old aerial photos, or even recent ones can be misleading. You need an archaeologist and a geologist to look at the site. Often the remains of ancient structures leave circular marks, and other patterns visible from the air in photos, and these remains can be thousands of years old. Historians typically are not trained in these disciplines nor are they trained in the art of interpreting aerial reconnaissance photography. For example, centre pivot irrigation creates circles visible from the air. Just one isolated one in an old photograph would look like a 'primitive' crop circle. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-iQ5fDvfaGG4/T-bulvZp9dI/AAAAAAAAWp0/nK72bBloaZk/s640/center+pivot+irrigation+crop+circle+2.jpg
