Director Hiroshi Inagaki's first of three parts of Samurai series based on the life of Musashi Miyamoto. Toshirô Mifune shines in the lead role. This topic came up earlier this year. IFC usually airs martial arts films on Saturday mornings at 8am (EST). The next showing of Samurai I will be at 2pm (EST) this afternoon. The film will air one more time tomorrow morning at 6am (EST).
