I am sorry you are depressed. I have heard many such arguments and have found them to either be addressing other issues (e.g. vaj -- 3rd world brothels) or their conjectures about dancers are not empirically based -- as I tried to point out in the adjacent post, copied in 72454 linked below. Have you talked to many dancers? Have you been to many clubs? (lots of women go). Or are your concerns of an abstract nature? If so, that does not disqualify them -- just a word of caution that it is possible that they are outdated or not firmly established to begin with. Do you have points to counter any of my points in 72454? New information? New insights from talking to dancers? If so, please share. As I have said, I am open to the possiblity that contemporary dancers in modern US club are exploited, but I have yet to see any compelling evidence of such. If there is such evidence in abundance, I have been inept in finding it. Please share. But first, if you do wish to make a case, define "exploitation". Per the definitions I offered up, I just don't see it.
