I have to agree with Akasha here. I once traveled a lot for a living to Detroit, and there was a strip club there that brilliantly was situated near the airport, and even more brilliantly offered a free limo ride to the airport, as long as you left early and stopped off for a drink or two at their club. As a result, I have sat at their bar and talked to dozens of stippers, gotten to know them. There *are* a lot of messed-up, low-self-image women working in strip clubs. There are a lot of messed-up, low-self-image women working in offices. There are also a lot of smart, non-hung-up-about-sex women who are using the clubs to pay for a good education and a future. If there is any exploitation going on, it is of the men, not the women. The women are paid very well, both by the clubs and in the form of tips. They are taken *care* of -- God *help* the poor schmuck who tries to touch one of them or do something inappropriate. It's like any other form of work -- if it's so great, why do they have to pay you to be there? You're trading some of your time for something you think is more valuable than your time, in this case, money. ------------------------ Yahoo!
