Ponying up, as MJ requests, or proving with pudding, whichever metaphor you
prefer (-:

the proof is in the pudding - so pony up, show the proof - ain't none cuz the
world is in worse shape now than when the so-called ME was first touted to get
more gullible meditators buying the sidhis and so forth.

Subject: [FairfieldLife] my take on the Maharishi Effect

Just as there is a whole lot going on behind the scenes with each meditation,
so it is with the Maharishi Effect. The only way to determine any kind of
proof, is to see *ourselves* in terms of the effect. By considering our
individual consciousness as equivalent to global, or universal, consciousness,
and watching over time, the purification of our individual consciousness, the
mechanics by which global consciousness is purified are increasingly obvious.

As for predicting specific effects, through the ME, that is possible, although
the time frame cannot be known with any certainty, anymore than our own
progress towards inner peace can be charted, ahead of time. Which renders any
predictions useless.

The basic principle is a sound one, though, and not really unique to TM - A
peaceful individual leads to a peaceful family, community, country and world.

I recall Maharishi saying in the '90's that the world was getting more extreme,
and to just not be disturbed by it, focusing on growing inner peace instead.
Still really good advice.
