I guess you could also call it(M.E.) the Abraham effect. Read the story of Sodom and Glocca Morra. Abraham asks God how many righteous souls it would take for him not to destroy the cities of the plains. He bargains with God from about fifty down to about ten. Once the number of righteous drops below a certain point, God will not guarantee their safety from His wrath.
