I didn't sit there for the entire process. She was panting for air for many hours, but was still somewhat aware of her environment at least some of the time, I think. I said my goodbyes for 3 weeks as I helped take care of her. We had a hospital bed in her room. She chose "no heroic methods" as an option, which in my brother's mind, meant to IV for liquids. Since she was coherent at least some of the time, I assume that his choice was hers. At the end, she refused any food or drink for about 2 days and then just died. > --- In [email protected], TurquoiseB <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > --- In [email protected], "sparaig" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > Thanks everyone for your kind words of support on this forum: > > > > > > http://www.dailystar.com/dailystar/sports/92164.php > > > > My condolences.
