Hey Nabby, one of your famous TM heroes, P.M., is said to have finally stopped smoking pot, (according to news reports of his mentioning he did.) and that just happened only a couple of years ago and he had been doing TM since the 1960's. So TM can take a bit longer to work or not than what "controlled studies," may wish to prove. Same with another famous TM hero, did alcohol and other things years later and then some.
TM can help, yes, I just wish the organization did not attempt the "culturing effect," as ones who administer the TMO because it can drive one to tequila just to knock a belief system out of view! LOL. Again, TM, is good for many. Some good philosophy, built in, just scrap the control freaks (ie; anti-saint policy and etc.) and someone like Barry Wright would not have turned into an angry anti tm man. It is beliefs that lead us to attachments of how things should, would, could be. I believe (ha) Barry had full trust in the knowledge than things did not look right to him within the structure of movement policy and actions, he left for another levitating guru and then now has become Buddhist? He wanted to believe, wanted to grow as a person, and maybe still is growing. Same with us all. Romantic belief-ism. Oh heck, Happy Independence Day to us all! --- In [email protected], nablusoss1008 <no_reply@...> wrote: > > > > --- In [email protected], Michael Jackson <mjackson74@> wrote: > > > > you do jump to conclusions Ann - I was in no way close to being an alkee > > > So the pot/wine/bourbon/tequila/beer etcetc came after you stopped doing TM. > That makes sense MJ > > > > > --- In [email protected], Michael Jackson <mjackson74@> wrote: > > > > > > I have not drunk al-kee-hall in years.
