Basically, the research cited seems to suggest that your self is heroin, and talking about yourself is your brain's way of shooting up. And, as we have certainly seen here on FFL, and with certain people in particular (think the guy who could write 4,000 words into a post, thus rendering it *unreadable* by anyone other than himself) it *really doesn't matter* whether anyone is listening to you talk about yourself or not.
