Edg please, Zimmerman wasn't arrested because he had been on the phone with 911 up until moments before the shooting. The police new he was a neighborhood watchman. There were witnesses that backed Zimmerman's story and other people had called in and the overwhelming evidence supported Zimmerman's story of self defense. If Zimmerman had been stalking someone with intent to kill, why the hell would he be on the phone with police while doing so?Florida had a *stand your ground* law. He was lead away in handcuffs and interrogated at the police station for days.They took his gun. The police realized they didn't have a case against Zimmerman and in Florida you can't prosecute somebody without sufficient evidence for a conviction. Florida eventually arrested and prosecuted him out of political pressure.Florida has opened it's self to a possible law suit against it for what they have done with Zimmerman.The FBI interviewed 36 people that new Zimmerman and came to the conclusion we wasn't a racist. He mentored some black kids and had been a witness for a black man that had been beaten by police in the past. The state eventually charged him with 2nd degree murder but accepted a lower charge of man slaughter and the judge refused to let them charge him with child abuse. They tried but had no case! You suspect he stalked Martin and wanted the kid to bow and scrape like a... because that is the narrative the media has wanted you to believe from day one. It was pure political manipulation with disregard for the facts. It was meant to play on people's emotions.
