In my worldview Emily, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual exist on the same continuum of life. Under the influence of the previous paradigm, both physical and psychological doctors isolated aspects of being human, to the detriment, IMO, of all concerned. I think we're fortunate to be living in an era when those separative analyses are being questioned and more holistic approaches are being sought and studied fervently.
