It occurred to me that perhaps Share is pasting in the URL immediately following the http:// in the Insert Link window. In that window, the http:// is highlighted, and if you right click and paste in the link, it pastes over the http://. If for whatever reason, the http:// is left in and the link pasted after it, the link will not work.
