I know what you mean about escalating prices. What
I pay for my health care tripled when I moved to
the Netherlands. Back in France, it cost me 320 Euros...
a year. Here, it costs me more like three times that
amount...on paper, but then the guvmint refunds me
about half that because I'm old. The coverage here
is better, though, including dental, eye care, and all
alternative therapies.

Presented just to point out the difference between
America and civilized nations.

Here's the funny thing. You have dummies who don't like to pay for other people's health care. Or so they claim. But they don't want to pay for Obamacare either. So what happens if they get sick and rack up huge medical bills? We wind up paying for them. In fact I already being gouged by Blue Cross the past decade and them not having to pay out a single claim. Only in 2000 when I had cataract surgery by the best specialist in the Bay Area did they have to pay out and at that the bill equaled what I paid in premiums. Like Willy would say: go figure.

I'm on Medicare now and it hasn't needed to pay out any claims either.
