Isn't the character of Root a gas? I am *so* happy that Johnathon Nolan and the writers of this series realized what a resource they had on their hands, and gave Amy Acker a role she could sink her teeth into. She was my favorite actress on "Dollhouse," and for similar reasons -- she could play "seemingly normal" one minute, and "beyond demented" the next, seamlessly. Root is crazier than a bedbug, but the "voices" really *are* talking to her. How do you explain that to your shrink in the mental hospital they've committed you to *except* to do what she did in episode three of this season? I'm hoping that they keep her front and center throughout the rest of the series...
