Morrissey is having his autobiography published as one of those black-cover Penguin classics to be stacked alongside Marx, Melville and Milton. To package as a classic a book that no one except Morrissey and a handful of others has yet read is preposterous. Why, it's as ridiculous as giving the Nobel Peace Prize to Obama on the strength of what he might accomplish in future . . .
