When I'm out and about, I sometimes see a cool dinosaur that Maya doesn't have yet in the window of a toy store and go in to buy it. More often than not, the person at the checkout desk says something like, "Your little boy is sure to love this."
Yeah, right. Maya knows all the scientific names for each of her many dinos. She builds Lego structures that defy belief. At age not-quite-four, she's better at computer games than I will ever be. She ain't gettin' no "pink, pretty, and no thought required" presents to program her into a "pink, pretty, and no thought possible" young woman clone from her Uncle Barry. http://www.upworthy.com/if-3-little-girls-did-this-to-my-house-id-do-eve\ rything-i-could-to-get-them-full-rides-to-stanford <http://www.upworthy.com/if-3-little-girls-did-this-to-my-house-id-do-ev\ erything-i-could-to-get-them-full-rides-to-stanford>
