As most of us might well know, saMyama (sañyama) "consists" of dhaaraNaa, dhyaanam and samaadhi(H).
This seems to be Madhusuudana's definition(?) of dhaaraNaa hRt-puNDariikaadau (hRt-puNDariika+aadau) manasash-cira-kaala-sthaapanaM dhaaraNaa.
