<< So, you DO want to talk about it. How much would you be willing to wager? >>
Wager on what, Richard? << You can call it "fun" or you can call it whatever you want, but it was clear that Robin was putting you down, big time, for your pomposity and overbearing style. >> The whole thing was a gag, Richard, a lark. Robin and I had become good friends by that time and remained so as long as he was on FFL. << Why don't you post Robin's comments here so we can all read it and make up our own mind? >> It isn't a matter of opinion, Richard, sorry. << You do have the post in your folder, right? I don't have time to look it up. Thanks. >> Oh, there were a whole bunch of posts. We got into it off and on over time. Here's the first exchange of that type, starting with my response to his initial post (quoted in full at the end): http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/message/301020 http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/message/301020 http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/message/301104 http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/message/301104 http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/message/301143 http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/message/301143 And just for giggles, here are Feste's comments on #301020 above: Gosh, golly. This is serious stuff. It is shaping up as a Shakespearean play, a clash of "mighty opposites." The next scene should be good. The audience must already be pondering the mysterious revelation below that authfriend has been working with MZ for 17 YEARS behind the scenes to discredit Barry. Can it be so? Really? And who, we absolutely must know, are the equally mysterious "masters" that MZ serves? And what about the capitalized "Others" for whom authfriend declares she is working? Who on earth might they be? And I thought all this time that FFL was just an Internet chat forum. Now I see it is a cloak-and-dagger tale of mighty forces, shifting alliances, outrageous betrayals, and turbulent passions. Perhaps there is a playwright behind all this, who is actually plotting a way for the reviled poster from Holland to regain lost ground and reign supreme, his enemies confounded and at his mercy. Will he choose magnanimity or revenge? We shall find out. http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/FairfieldLife/conversations/messages/301029 http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/FairfieldLife/conversations/messages/301029 On 12/23/2013 9:21 AM, authfriend@... mailto:authfriend@... wrote: Uh, no, another lie from Richard. Let's see if Feste has the integrity to back me up on this; I'm betting he doesn't. Robin and I never attacked each other except in fun, and most here got what was going on and thought it was hilarious. (As I recall, Vaj mistakenly thought our pretend-sparring was serious; and Curtis tried to suggest there was an undercurrent of animosity, almost certainly knowing otherwise.) If anyone is actually confused by Richard's lie, I'll be happy to talk more about this. << And, lets not forget how Robin viciously attacked Judy - something Judy probably doesn't want to talk about, >>
