Boredom is the direct experience of the minds
attachment and incessant need to feed itself. Sitting
quietly and not allowing the mind to feed itself
dissolves the attachment. The unsettled feeling of
boredom is the attachment burning-off. This is why
vipassana meditation can feel boring, but once you
come out into activity the mind is extremely, quiet,
calm and clear. Just a different path than TM.
