My favorite story about Dilgo Kyentse Rinpoche. It was written years ago in the Shambala Sun. Thomas Rich had already been appointed as Vajra Regent and Kyentse Rinpoche was invited by Trungpa to the US. Kyentse asked the Regent to stop by later that evening because He wanted to say something important. It was written that the Regent stopped by the Rinpoches room after most people had retired. As i recall, this is how the Regent relayed the incident. He motioned me to come close. Leaning over He whispered into my ear "Remember always to be kind, people are depending on you."
